Welcome to My Tatting Library!
With my ever consuming love for all things tatting it seems only fitting that my tatting library would grow on a constant basis. The only way to keep track of these well loved tatting books is to keep an alphabetized index of them.
"Better yet," I thought to myself, "Why don't I share it with the online tatting community and they can add any thoughts or opinions about the book as they see fit."

Summary: This is a 32 page soft cover booklet with color photos on the cover and black and white image copies inside the book. The first 5 pages cover tatting abbreviations and how-to-tat basic instructions with artist's renderings of hand positions for tatting the double stitch. There is also information on tatting techniques such as:

Multiple Threads
Correcting Mistakes
Josephine Knot
Roll Stitch
Bead Work
Weave Stitch
Finishing Work
Press Work
Cleaning Work
There are some lovely tatting patterns for doilies, 3-D Easter Eggs (Egg ornament coverings), edgings, insertions, motifs, and Christmas ball coverings. There is a total of about 44 patterns in all. The patterns are written in vintage style instructions with corresponding black and white photos at the beginning of each written pattern. If you can read vintage style patterns well this is a great book to have. There are some beautiful doily patterns in here!
