Summary: If you are looking for the "Reader's Digest Version" of the history of tatting this is it! Not only is this soft cover booklet a short read at 32 pages, but it is full of fabulous black and white photos from tatting's history; right back to it's "Grandmother" Knotting! There are photos of rare shuttles and tatted pieces. There are even photos of knotting shuttles. Knotting was so beloved by much of aristocracy that many ladies would have their portraits painted with their knotting shuttles in their hands! This is a worthwhile read and a small book that I'm proud to have part of my tatting library. For a long time it was out of print and hard to find so I am glad to see it is available again!
The book shown is part of an "Alphabetized Index of my Personal Tatting Library" and is not for sale by me. I receive no financial compensation from any book sellers for posting or linking to any shops. Feel free to leave your own comments or review about this book in the comments.
