June is even a "flip-flip sandal" corner marker! The patterns are written in a vintage style instructions, but are clearer than most vintage style instructions. There are black and white photo images with each pattern and drawn diagrams as well. This is a good book for the beginner who isn't afraid to jump out of the "Modern style instructions" shell! There are abbreviations for tatting terms in the front of the book along with explanations that the two shuttle patterns can be turned into just shuttle and ball patterns if you do the Shoe Lace Trick (which is very easy) which is also explained at the beginning of the book.
