The book has some lovely patterns and includes a free DVD for learning how to tat. Learning to tat means learning to tat with a shuttle. I've heard some new tatters say online that this book did help them learn to tat. This book has only been out a short time. If you are wanting to learn how to tat this is a good book to get. It is so important to have the "visual" of how the threads "switch" or "flip" in the creation of the double stitch. The DVD provides a visual in action. I have to say, it's a nice book and the price isn't too bad, either. PLUS you get the DVD, I think it's a great value if you are serious about learning to tat. I cannot find my current copy. I may not have one since I have a tendency to give them away!
