Summary: This is a fascinating book, a "must have" for the tatting designer! This is a soft cover, spiral bound book with 69 pages. This book has drawn black and white instructions explaining how to use alternate (more than one color) threads in one ring and also a variety of picot variations with this type of ring. These techniques add a whole new dimension to the tatting design element. This book is recommended for the advanced tatter or any tatter who has the basics down and is interested in learning new techniques and elements to their tatting. I counted about 28 patterns in this book. Each pattern has very clearly written instruction in the modern style accompanied by clearly drawn numbered diagrams and clear photocopies of the finished tatted piece or the work in progress as appropriate with the progression of the pattern. There are several new techniques discussed in this book.
The book shown is part of an "Alphabetized Index of my Personal Tatting Library" and is not for sale by me. I receive no financial compensation from any book sellers for posting or linking to any shops. Feel free to leave your own comments or review about this book in the comments.
