Summary: This is one of 4 of Mary Konior's published books. It is out of print. It is 120 pages of tatting instructions, black and white photos of tatting shuttles and tatted pieces and patterns written in a vintage style. Mary Konior's style of writing patterns is clearer than most vintage style written tatting patterns. There are patterns for edgings, "braids and strips" (a.k.a. "insertions"), collar, motifs, doilies, and even fingerless gloves! Photos correspond with the pattern that they represent. One thing of note is the edging entitled "Scarlett" on page 51 is a version of the familiar "Hens and Chicks" pattern that has been popular since about the 1920's.
