Summary: This soft cover, spiral bound book is 62 pages of instructions on how to cover a "cabone ring" (or "craft ring" as we call them today). The author points out that this is nothing new in her subtitle. Indeed, an investigation into tatting books from the Victorian era will reveal old black and white images of rings covered with tatting and tatted rings. They were most often used as shade pulls at this time. There are 40+ patterns and even written instructions with colored photos on how to cover the ring. It is a collection of tatting patterns for beginner, intermediate and advanced level tatting (according to the title page). The patterns include Christmas ornament patterns and even ideas for bookmarks, buttons and earrings. The author also points out that it is very easy to design your own tatting patterns with these rings.
