Welcome to My Tatting Library!

Welcome to My Tatting Library!
With my ever consuming love for all things tatting it seems only fitting that my tatting library would grow on a constant basis. The only way to keep track of these well loved tatting books is to keep an alphabetized index of them.
"Better yet," I thought to myself, "Why don't I share it with the online tatting community and they can add any thoughts or opinions about the book as they see fit."

Each book will have it's own blog post. If you happen to have one of these books feel free to share your own thoughts, comments, or reviews in the comment section of the blog post for that book!
Many thanks to:

for sending me a photo of a book to use!
The businesses who have given me permission to copy photos and link to their shops are in no way giving me any financial compensation for doing this. My compensation is the satisfaction of getting an alphabetized index of my personal tatting library organized and sharing it with the online tatting community! This is only an index of my tatting library, only the cover of the book is shown.

Oh, and one last thing...

TATTING PATTERNS!

Actually, with Mary Konior's talent as a tatting designer these are not the regular old tatting patterns. She has a distinct style that has made her designs a favorite among tatters still today. This book has 4 sections of tatting patterns. The 1st is on edgings called "Edgings with Corners", wherein even the corners (for hankies) are explained. There is a 2nd section for "Braids and Strips" (some are better known as insertions). The 3rd pattern section is entitled "Composite Designs" where collars, doilies, and mats are found. The 4th tatting pattern section is called "Individual Designs and Fragments". Many floral motifs and other small motifs are found here. The patterns are written in vintage style instructions, however, her patterns tend to be clearer than the usual "difficult to read" vintage style. This book is out of print. Have a look on your favorite search engine for possible purchasing opportunities.

The book shown is part of an "Alphabetized Index of my Personal Tatting Library" and is not for sale by me. I receive no financial compensation from any book sellers for posting or linking to any shops. Feel free to leave your own comments or review about this book in the comments.
