Summary: This softcover book of 84 pages is chock-full of fabulous turn-of-the-century tatting patterns. There is an original needle tatting design of a tree top angel (see cover) by Barbara Foster. The republications are from "Corticelli Lesson in Tatting", "Practical Tatting Book No. 1", "The Ladies' Work-Table Book", and "The Ladies' Hand Book of Fancy And Ornamental Work" dating from 1843-1916. Needless to say, these republications are in vintage style instructions. There are several edgings, motifs, and insertions that can be used for embellishments.
The book shown is part of an "Alphabetized Index of my Personal Tatting Library" and is not for sale by me. I receive no financial compensation from any book sellers for posting or linking to any shops. Feel free to leave your own comments or review about this book in the comments.
