Summary: The cover says "Easy step by step illustrated instructions. Over 20 original patterns included pluse helpful designer ideas and hints by TATSY". Handy Hands advert says, "Approx. 24 patterns; 81 pages. Photographs on how to shuttle tat. Includes wreath, hat, cat, angel, ear ring, snowman, fan, basket, tree, edgings, collar and more. " The patterns have some modern style instructions interspersed with a lot of explanations. I have never tatted out of this book. I just bought it to show students a good book to purchase once they've learned the basics because the patterns look easy and they can still accomplish some projects. I think I even saw a bell ornament that is 3-D! The first section has photographs with "how-to's" for learning to tat. Those types of sections are great if you need a reminder of how to tat!
